Hi, I’m Nina Shamloo.
My UX Journey

I’m Nina, a UX/UI Designer based in Anaheim, California, with over 7 years of experience in research and design.
My journey began with a technical foundation in IT engineering and graphic design, which naturally evolved into a passion for UX research and design. This background has given me a sharp eye for detail and a strong focus on creating functional, user-centered solutions.
Over the years, I’ve prioritized designing accessible and scalable digital experiences that deliver meaningful results.
Design Philosophy

Good design brings users back—it creates experiences they enjoy and want to revisit. It’s not just about how a product looks but how it works and how it makes people feel.
I believe it starts with purpose and empathy, addressing real problems with simplicity and clarity. Efficiency is at the core of my process—every decision is made to reduce friction and deliver experiences that are functional, intuitive, and visually engaging.
Whether optimizing navigation, improving accessibility, or streamlining workflows, my focus is on crafting seamless and impactful user journeys.

Mentorship: A Journey of Growth

Mentoring aspiring designers through Great Learning (in collaboration with the University of Texas) and ADPList has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career. It’s incredible to guide others in their design journeys, share insights, and learn from their fresh perspectives along the way.
For me, mentorship isn’t just about teaching—it’s about building connections, inspiring creativity, and contributing to a thriving design community.
This experience continues to shape my passion for design and reminds me why I love what I do.
Here’s my Certificate of Mentorship as a proud milestone:
